WCMA 2015 Highlights

Thanks to our many volunteers and generous, fun-loving residents, the Walnut Cove Members Association (WCMA)  is celebrating another record setting year. We were able to enjoy great times together while helping 21 deserving charities in Western North Carolina. Our organization now numbers 132 members, a 30% increase over last year.

Walnut Cove Members AssociationCELEBRATING OUR SUCCESS
We had a great group of volunteers who organized events that increased participation while also increasing our revenue and donations. The year was filled with social events, including our annual charity golf tournament in June which was preceded this year by our Black & White and Yellow dinner. As a result of our volunteers’ thoughtful planning and member generosity, we raised $86,000 for local charities. All the recipient charities are recommended by members who are personally and actively involved in these Western Carolina organizations. Since the inception of WCMA in 2007, with this year included, we have now given $643,124 to local charities.
